About Boynton Engraving
In 1980, Germaine Boynton moved from New Hampshire to Maine. She decided she wanted to work for herself, so she bought a small engraving machine. In the beginning, Boynton Engraving was as much a hobby as it was a business.
As the business grew, she found it necessary to purchase a bigger engraving machine to handle the orders that were coming in.
In 1982, before most people had ever even used a computer, Boynton Engraving began using computerization as standard procedure.
Over the years, the growing business has established a client list that includes 400 nursing homes and 6 hospitals – and all without any advertising. Every new client has been generated by word of mouth referrals from one customer to another.
In 1990, Germaine’s daughter Diane joined her in the business and the two have been partners ever since.
Boynton Engraving celebrated 30 years in business in 2010, and the company continues to grow. If you or your organization is in need of color or engraved badges, custom interior signs, personalized puzzles or coffee mugs, please feel free to contact us for more information.
